This competition requested a communal public park design in Al Lweibdeh Neighborhood. Being on the edge between East and West Amman, it required a climate and cultural sensitive and durable design inclusive of gender, origins and age groups. The research went into extensive data collection including a participatory approach with the community and the surrounding commercial strip. The design solutions accentuated the flexibility of the space while making it safely accessible to all users group. It also encouraged group and individual activities through customized elements of seating and landscape elements.
